Kid Ink is an American rapper, producer, and songwriter born on April 1, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. He began his rap career in the underground, releasing several mixtapes and independent albums before signing with major label RCA Records in 2012. His debut studio album, "Up & Away", was released the same year and peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200. His second album, "My Own Lane", was released in 2014 and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. His third album, "Full Speed", was released in 2015 and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. Brian Todd Collins (born April 1, 1986),[2] known professionally as Kid Ink, is an American rapper and singer from Los Angeles, California.[3][4] His debut studio album, Up & Away (2012), was released independently and peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200. He then signed with RCA Records to release his debut extended play (EP) Almost Home (2013), followed by his second album and major label debut, My Own Lane, the following year. The discography of Kid Ink, an American rapper, consists of four studio albums, three extended plays, eight mixtapes and thirty-six singles (including sixteen as a featured artist).
After releasing his first mixtape, World Tour, under the name Rockstar, he started to gain popularity. At the beginning of the 2011 summer, he then released his second mixtape, Daydreamer, which was available for download on various sites that featured Cory Gunz, Maejor Ali, Ray J, Sean Kingston, Meek Mill, Bow Wow, along with others.
In September 2011, he released his third mixtape named Wheels Up that featured artists 2 Chainz, Nipsey Hussle, Tyga and more.
