My Story is an autobiographical book written by Indian author and poet Kamala Das (also known as Kamala Surayya or Madhavikutty). The book was originally published in Malayalam, titled Ente Katha. The book evoked violent reactions of admiration and criticism among the readers and critics. It remains to date the best-selling woman's autobiography in India.

She was born on 31 March She is popularly known by her one-time pen name Madhavikutty. Her married name is Kamala Das. Her popularity in Kerala is based chiefly on her short stories and autobiography. While her oeuvre in English is noted for her poems and explicit autobiography which is written under the name Kamala Das. Her liberal treatment of female sexuality marked her as an iconoclast in the popular culture of her generation.

She died on 31 May , aged 75, at Jehangir Hospital in Pune.

Her father is V. Nair, a managing editor of the widely circulated Malayalam daily Mathrubhumi. Her mother is Nalapat Balamani Amma, a renowned Malayali poet.
