Biography

Ajin No is a painter currently based in San Francisco and originally from Seoul, Korea. She majored in oriental painting at Hansung University in Korea. And has a BFA and an MFA in Fine Art Painting from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, USA.

Her main art mediums of painting include acrylic, oil, and mixed media. Her paintings have been included multiple years at the Academy’s Spring Show. Ajin has exhibited her artworks at City Session, Mish-Mash group painting exhibition, and Light space & Time, an online art gallery. Also, she has a plan to exhibit her works at SFWA Collage & Mixed media, colors of humanity art gallery online exhibition, and Art gallery 118 online exhibition in May 2021. She is a member of Mikihasi, a San Francisco Korean Artists Group, and has published her artworks, videos and other work on the Youtube channel: Mikihasi.

Artist Statement

I am more interested in expressing the invisible world rather than in how to interpret the visible world. So, I wanted to create a painting that satisfies both the essence of a true ob

CUSSETA, Ala. (WTVM) - An auto parts manufacturing company involved in a lawsuit following the accidental death of one of their employees is now being ordered to pay more than $1,000,000.

Ajin USA pleaded guilty to willful violation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act, which caused the death of one of their east Alabama machinery operators, 20-year-old Regina Elsea.

In June 2016, Elsea entered an enclosure, called a cell, at the Chambers County facility that contained several robots and pieces of machinery to troubleshoot a fault with one of the sensors. While inside, one of the machines started up and struck Elsea with a robotic arm. She later died from her injuries.

The OSH Act requires employers undertake measures to de-energize machinery during service to make sure that unplanned startups like the one that killed Elsea do not happen.

Ajin USA had these types of measures developed and implemented, but did not enforce them effectively for a period of at least two years.

Indian-American executive (born 1951)

Ajit Jain (born 23 July 1951) is an Indian-American executive who is the Vice Chairman of Insurance Operations for Berkshire Hathaway as of January 10, 2018.[1][2] Ajit Jain is an older cousin of Anshu Jain, who was the former Co-CEO of Deutsche Bank.[3]

Education

Jain attended Stewart School in Cuttack. In 1972, he graduated from the IIT Kharagpur in India with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.[4][5]

Career

From 1973 to 1976, Jain worked for IBM as a salesman for their data-processing operations in India. He was named "Rookie of the Year" in his region in 1973.[6] He lost his job in 1976 when IBM discontinued their operation in India because they declined to allow any Indian ownership of the company, as was then required by law.[6]

In 1978, Jain moved to the United States, where he earned an MBA from Harvard University and joined McKinsey & Co. He returned to India in the early 1980s and married. The Jains then moved back to the Un
