Tricia Janine Helfer is a Canadian model and actress. Born on April 11, 1974 to her mother Elaine Helfer and father Jonathan Marshall, she was raised in Donalda, a small rural town found in Alberta. She began modeling at the age of 17 and In 1992 she won the Ford Models' Supermodel of the World. She signed with Elite Model Management and later Trump Model Management eventually gracing the covers of many magazines and becoming a Victoria's Secret beauty. In 2002 she decided to move to the Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She found roles in "Jeremiah" and "C.S.I." before landing her signature role in the re-imagined 2004 version of "Battlestar Galactica" as a Cylon known as "Number Six".
