When was toms founded

Paul Toms may be best known as an entrepreneur in the recruitment sector, but having been born with cleft lip and palate himself, he’s been a passionate Ambassador for Operation Smile since 2020. Paul wanted to support the charity’s vital work and challenge himself creatively, so, in his first foray as an author, he penned Sloathar the Sloth: a delightful children’s story book launched in May 2024. All profit from the sale of Paul's book will be donated directly to Operation Smile in support of their incredible work worldwide. “It brings me joy to know this book will bring happiness to those families who read it together, as well as helping to fund more new smiles for children with cleft conditions.” Kathy Magee, Co-Founder, President & CEO of Operation Smile Every three minutes, somewhere, a child is born with a cleft lip and/or cleft palate. For those children born in developing countries an Operation Smile programme may well be their only option to access life-changing surgery and comprehensive care. Thank you!
