Actress Paula Garces is part of a new generation of emboldened Hispanic American performers. In 2010, she not only continues to work in high-profile film and TV projects such as the SyFy TV drama "Warehouse 13," she also has created and hosts her own TV newsmagazine, "The Look," and unveiled her first comic book, "Aluna," at the 2010 Comic-Con convention in San Diego. She first jump-started her acting career in the late 1990s with a seven-episode stint on soap opera stalwart "The Guiding Light."
