Emma Jean Bell[1] (born December 17, 1986) is an American actress, best known for her role as Parker O'Neal in the films Frozen and Hatchet II (both 2010), as Molly Harper in Final Destination 5 (2011), and for playing Amy in the first and third season of the AMCpost apocalyptic series The Walking Dead (2010; 2012), and Emma Judith Ryland Brown on the TNT drama series Dallas (2013–2014).

Early life and family

Emma Bell, who was born in Woodstown, New Jersey,[2] grew up in Flemington[3] and the Stanton section of Readington Township and attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School.[4] She moved to New York City at the age of 16.[5][6] She attended Talent Unlimite

British soprano Emma Bell made her Royal Opera debut in 2005 as Leonora (Maskarade) and has since returned to sing Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Tina (Weir’s Miss Fortune), Eva (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg), Madame Lidoine (Dialogues des Carmélites) and Elisabeth (Tannhäuser) for the Company.

Bell was born in Leamington Spa and trained at the Royal Academy of Music with Joy Mammen, with whom she continues to learn. She won the Kathleen Ferrier Award in 1998 and in 2002 took up a three-year contract at the Komische Oper Berlin, where her roles included Alcina, Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Agathe (Der Freischütz) and Mimì (La bohème). Appearances since include Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito) and Leonore (Fidelio) for English National Opera, Leonore for Opera North, Elettra (Idomeneo) and Donna Elvira for La Scala, Milan, Countess Almaviva and Donna Elvira for the Metropolitan Opera, New York, Countess Almaviva for Paris Opéra, Fox (The Cunning Little Vixen) for Glyndebourne Festival, Governess (The Turn of the Screw) for Teatro

Trained at the Royal Academy of Music and National Opera Studio and continues to study with Joy Mammen. Winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Prize (1998), she was a BBC New Generation Artist (1999). In 2002 she joined the Komische Oper, Berlin, where she has sung Pamina, Micaëla, Countess Almaviva, Alcina and Mimì. She has appeared with Glyndebourne Festival and Touring Opera and at Le Châtelet Opera, Paris in the title role of Rodelinda, Lausanne Opera (European debut), Geneva Opera (The Turn of the Screw), English National Opera (Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito) and at the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, BBC Proms and Mostly Mozart Festival, Lincoln Center (US debut) under such conductors as Mackerras, Bickett, Christie, Haim, Jacobs, Langree, Pappano, Slatkin and Tate.
