Vahan Setyan

Vahan currently serves as the Universal Ambassador, Authorized Representative Delegate and is a Friend and Ally of the Original Oceti Sakowin Treaty Government – Dachotah Government Branch of the Sioux Nation of Indians on domestic and foreign affairs, international peace mission and relationships. He has also served as the Authorized Agent in the Navajo Nation Farm Board - San Juan River on economic development, as well as the Authorized Agent within the Navajo Nation Council on gaming and hospitality development. In 2017 he brought, for the first time in history and under the Presidential mandate, a formal chronic disease management, hospice, and related services program to the Navajo Nation, working with Navajo Department of Health, Health, Education and Human Services Committee (HEHSC) and Navajo Office of the President and Vice President (OPVP) under a Memorandum of Agreement, and was featured in March 2018 Navajo Times article, largest circulating newspaper in Indian Country.

Dr. Setyan is the first non-Native American in history to serve as an authority for a Sovereign Treaty Government Organization on domestic and foreign affairs, international relations, healthcare, and cultural preservation. He received the first honorary doctorate in humane letters bestowed by a sovereign government for his contributions to humanity. He is also an independent researchers in ancient languages and cultures, and has authored various books and articles on human civilizations. He serves as the Ambassador for domestic and foreign governments and organizations on domestic and foreign affairs, international peace mission and relations for sovereign and indigenous governments and tribes around the world. Dr. Setyan is an avid public speaker and author, with television appearances, radio shows, published academic and research-oriented work on varied topics including hemp, indigenous affairs, ancient languages, world history, and industrial psychology.

Vahan A. Setyan


Vahan Setyan arrived to the United States in 1988. After completing his undergraduate degree in 2002, he continued in pursuing a graduate and doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. This provided the opportunity to examine contemporary organizations and ancient civilizations, further examining the aspects of altruistic behaviors and how they are perceived and utilized. This opened the door to further examine ancient mythologies and civilizations from the end of the Last Ice age to the fall of the Roman Empire and with it, allowed him to understand the hidden, neglected and forgotten history of the Armenian people. All of his examinations are primarily based on logical and evidential perspectives, attempting to understand the natural explanations of human history. Setyan has been on numerous TV interviews and video conferences, speaking about the historicity of the Armenian people. He is the author of various published articles and is currently working on the release of his second publication, “The Descendants of the Sun.”
