British television presenter and actress

Ruth England (born 29 March 1970) is a British television presenter and actress. From 2010 to 2012, she starred in the Discovery Channel show Man, Woman, Wild with her husband Mykel Hawke, a former US ArmySpecial Forces officer.

A graduate from the University of Westminster, Ruth has worked for the BBC, CNBC, ITV and Fox TV.

    University of Westminster media graduate who's carved a career out of presenting motoring, travel, collectables and news programmes on niche markets like the .tv channel, National Geographic, Meridian, the Travel Channel and ITV daytime. She replaced Judith Chalmers as the main Wish You Were Here? host in 2001 until the show's demise in 2003.

    Trivia

    She hosted the US reality show Forever Eden.

    Was once taken out to lunch by a TV executive, who thought it was a good idea until he saw the size of her martial arts-loving boyfriend who'd tagged along.
