Goto's concert with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Chikara Iwamura, forms part of the celebrations for the birthday anniversary of HM the Queen. Goto has been a star in Japan for more than 15 years. When he was eight years old, Fuji Television began a 10-year series of programmes titled Ryu Goto's Odyssey, a chronicle of his career and personal life.
