Barry R. Ziman started his career as a Director of Legislation in New York State in the 1980s. In the 90s, he became a lobbyist first in New York City and later in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and the State University of New York, College at Oneonta. Mr. Ziman was the runner-up winner of the October 2021, F. Scott Fitzgerald Short Story Competition. Another story was an "Honorable Mention" Finalist in the annual "Stories That Need to Be Told" competition of TulipTree Publishing, published in their 2023 anthology. In 2022, his novel "Girls, Crimes, and the Ruling Body" was selected as a Winner for Political Thriller by American Fiction Awards, a 1st Place Winner for Fiction/ Mystery by the PenCraft Book Awards, and a National Indie Excellence Award Finalist for Political Thriller. His novel was also selected as a Finalist for Political Thriller in the Readers' Favorite, 2022 International Book Award competition.

Richard Ziman
Richard Stephen Ziman (born November 5, 1942) is a prominent real estate investor, philanthropist, and Democratic party donor in Southern California.[2]
Early life
Richard Ziman was born on November 5, 1942, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the son of Helen and Charlie Ziman.[2] His father, Charles Ziman, was a furniture manufacturer who donated the materials to build a new synagogue in his hometown.[2] Both his parents were Jewish.[3] He has four siblings: brothers, Allan, Curt, Larry, and sister Phyllis.[2] His family moved to Beverly Hills, California in 1958.
Ziman earned a J.D. at USC in 1967.[2]
Career
In 1968, he started a job as an associate with the law firm Loeb & Loeb where he handled real estate including development, syndication and financing.[2] In 1971, he made partner.[2]
In 1980, he left the firm and founded the real estate investment firm, Pacific Financial Group which purchased and redeveloped rundown buildings using non-recourse financing.

Ralph Ziman biography
Ralph Ziman was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1963. Ralph has directed over 400 videos for artists as diverse as Ozzy Osbourne, Toni Braxton, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Shania Twain and Rick James, winning numerous MTV awards. His work in film includes over 6 features as a writer/director/producer including Hearts and Minds, the first independent South African feature film to be completed after apartheid. This premiered at the Berlin and Montreal International Film Festivals, and Jerusalema (Gangster’s Paradise in the US & UK), released to critical and box office acclaim and South Africa’s official entry to the 2008 Academy Award Foreign Language section. His public art includes five murals in Venice and a forthcoming one privately commissioned in Santa Monica. Ralph lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children. He maintains a studio in Venice Beach and is focusing on his art practice and a planned documentary component to the Ghosts series.
